1. The service
Top Traders (https://staging.toptraders.co.za) is a South African trades directory. Listings, reviews, and trust signals are user-generated.
2. Community rules
- No offensive or harassing content — be respectful.
- No adult or pornographic content.
- No sex-trade or sexual-services listings.
- No spam, fraud, or impersonation.
- We may moderate, ban content or users, and act on abuse reports.
3. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Top Traders and its operators accept no liability or responsibility for any losses, costs, or reputational damage arising from use of the platform, reliance on listings, reviews, or trust indicators, or any dealings arranged after discovery on the platform. We do not warrant the accuracy or fitness of user content.
4. Your right to leave
You may immediately discontinue any listing and may discontinue being a user / close your account. Discontinuing a listing ends its public presence and billing according to product rules.
5. Caching and copies
You understand that cached content, search-engine copies, backups, shares, and offline copies may linger on the internet after deletion or discontinuation. We cannot guarantee instantaneous or universal removal from third parties.
6. What is published
By submitting information you agree we may publish:
- Your username
- All contents of listings you create (including portfolio media and any contact details you choose to publish)
- Any review you write (rating, comment, images, username, date)
7. What stays private
- Your email address (unless you publish it on a listing for direct contact)
- Your password (stored hashed; never published)
8. Contact consent (POPIA)
If you add a phone or email to a listing, you must give explicit consent. Published contact is visible on public pages. Private email relay uses your address only to deliver enquiries without disclosing it publicly.
